Natural beds with a luxury pocket sprung divan base offers the ultimate in comfort and support.  Our premium brands Enchanted House, Vispring, The Bedding House of Rhodes, Manor Rose and Hästens will all feature divan bases with built-in pocket springs as standard.  The bases, therefore, add an additional layer of luxury that cannot be found in bedsteads or divan bases without springs.  These luxury bases can be personalised in your choice of fabric, castor or leg option for a modern aesthetic if required.

Breathable Qualities

Divan beds that have mattresses with pure natural fillings are hard to beat and represent a significant part of our offering.  Pocket springs themselves are individually wrapped in a breathable fabric pocket which is then stitched to the adjoining spring’s pocket, enabling each spring to mould to the shape of your body, offering the perfect support.  The breathable spring casing further encourages airflow throughout the interior of the mattress, keeping your mattress, and you, fresh and dry throughout the night.

Natural fillings such as wool, cotton, alpaca, and silk perfectly compliment pocket springs and sit on either side of the spring system to regulate your body temperature, so you neither sleep too hot nor too cold.  Foams and fibres do not allow air to circulate so freely so can sleep considerably warmer, foam is used in many industries to insulate, which is not a desirable quality in a mattress.
