Traditional springs are often termed as open coil springs.  Each spring is joined by helical wire and contained in a thicker rod edge perimeter wire for edge to edge support, and to reinforce the mattress border as you get in and out of the mattress.  The spring unit is less expensive to produce so price points are often lower, however the mattress does not offer the same pressure relieving comfort as a pocket sprung mattress.

Our collection of traditional spring mattresses are double sided and require both turning and rotating for added longevity.  UK delivery is free and we are also able to take and recycle your old mattress, charges may apply for this service if you live outside of our local delivery area.
