Turn Free

Turn Free mattresses. Historically mattresses have always required turning to increase their longevity and allow the natural fillings to settle. However not everyone is able to, or wants to, turn a heavy mattress so our selection of no turn free mattresses only need to be rotated.

Our general recommendation when purchasing a new mattress is to buy one that you can turn, the mattress will be upholstered on both sides of the spring unit enabling you to turn and rotate the mattress.  Turning and rotating the mattress evenly spreads its workload, the result is the mattress will last longer, brands such as Enchanted House Beds and Vispring offer up to a 30 year Guarantee on their mattresses that are designed to be turned as opposed to turn free mattresses.

The issue is that mattresses have definitely got heavier, increases in pocket spring counts and the shift to buying bigger mattresses over the years, have contributed to increasing mattress weights, making them harder to turn.  This is why we offer a comprehensive collection of turn free mattresses.
