Here at last, is her ode to the teasel in a deep teal and emerald ombre velvet cushion. A familiar sight towards end of summer, these stunning stems are the highlight of any wild meadow.

Our cushions are as ethical as they are lovely. Digitally printed to minimize waste and water, with ethically sourced feather pads with a responsible down certification. This 40 x 60cm cushion is crafted from soft and sumptuous 100% polyester face and reverse with piped edges.

Clarissa Hulse designs beautiful and luxurious homeware from her studio in North London, with an emphasis on botanical imagery and bold colour.

Clarissa’s designs are based on her nature photography, which is just as likely to originate from a tropical rainforest as it is to feature leaves from a local London park. Grasses, seed heads, ferns and trailing vines feature heavily in the modern, silhouetted designs, often printed onto natural fabrics such as silk and linen which have been dyed with a trademark ombre effect.

Her story begins with a nomadic childhood, where the challenge of making a new home in different countries ignited a passion for interiors. Her British diplomat father and Greek mother moved the family from the Czech Republic to Thailand, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Greece to name but a few. In the early 2000’s, Clarissa started designing homewares and has been making colourful, nature-inspired designs ever since. She has built a reputation for creating luxurious fabrics, in distinctive palettes featuring graceful botanical silhouettes and her beautiful products brighten homes across the globe.
