What is a Platform Base?
A Platform top divan base is a base with no additional springs but a solid boarded construction on the top of the base to support your mattress. This Manor Rose Full Depth Platform divan base, is a superb choice to provide a firmer support for your mattress, the base is 40cm high including the castor and standard UK headboard fixings are fitted to enable headboards of a matching size to be fitted. The base must be strong enough to resist the weight of the mattress, and occupant(s) easily, but they do a more important job than just raising the mattress off the floor.

Manor Rose bases are available in a wide variety of different fabrics to help blend seamlessly into your home décor. The bases are supplied in two sections (except single 90cm size) for ease of delivery and are joined by a hidden linking system, and the join is neatly concealed with a tailored flap. Bespoke sizes are also available on request, please email us with your requirements for a quote. Optional storage is available with drawers in a variety of configurations such as 2 drawer, 4 drawer, or 2 2 drawers.
