The Hästens Dremer bed combines the finest natural materials and six generations of craftsmanship with the creativity of world-renowned designer Ferris Rafauli. It is a dream come true to release this masterpiece in the same year as Hästens 170th anniversary and marks the next chapter of the Hästens story dedicated to Dremers.

The unique layer-upon-layer technology evident in the Dremer transports moisture away efficiently, leaving you to rest fully relaxed in a precisely balanced sleep climate. This model is displayed in our large Hästens studio, in store within Horsham Bedding Centre – Jones and Tomlin.

The bed is composed of three main components, the base, the middle mattress, and the Dremer top mattress. All of which combine to offer a level of unrivalled within the luxury bed market.

Your Choice of mattress firmness

Choose between four different levels of firmness: soft, medium, firm and extra firm. Beds 180cm wide or wider can have a different firmness level on either side, your firmness can be selected after you have chosen your size. To further enhance your comfort the bed is available with the choice of three outstanding all natural top mattresses.

What makes the Hästens spring system great is not the number of springs but the different types, how they are placed and the way they combine with the layers of natural materials. A combination of spring dimension, height and number of coils determines the quality and properties of the spring system. This technology is precise and quite amazing. For example, the higher the number of coils, the higher the bed’s quality and the longer its life. But too many coils will affect a spring’s compression. The balance of variables is crucial when designing spring systems to achieve the optimal result. Few materials can match horsehair when it comes to constructing a bed. Every single curled strand of horsehair works as a tiny spring, enhancing the work of our internal spring systems, providing support and pliability. Horsehair also comes with its own extremely effective, built-in ventilation system. Each strand of horsehair acts like a miniature airway: a hollow tube with a microscopic capillary action that channels away moisture and lets fresh air in. It is so effective that if you soak horsehair with water and give it a shake, it dries almost immediately.
