As the bedfellow to our softer Lottie bed, Frederick shares its handcrafted soul but brings a more structured, architectural presence to the room. The design is rooted in Victorian tradition, with clean vertical lines and carefully balanced proportions that lend a sense of order and elegance. The brass finials are a standout feature—each hand-turned by skilled craftspeople using traditional techniques. Taking over an hour to shape, they add a touch of grandeur without overwhelming the frame.

Frederick is available in a curated palette of powder-coated finishes, with Midnight Blue being a customer favourite. Please note that we also offer this piece with nickel finials, top rail and internal metal components for an additional charge, if required, which adds a stunning contemporary twist to this classic design.

This stunning bedstead is available to order in all standard sizes including Small Double – 120 x 190cm, Euro King – 160 x 200cm, Large Super King – 200 x 200cm and Emperor – 215 x 215cm. All sizes are available in the choice of 10 powder coated finishes, bespoke sizes and colours are also available, please contact us with your requirements.

The bedstead is supplied with a Scandinavian fixed pine-slatted base. For an additional charge we offer a 6" Enchanted House firm edge pocket sprung base, the sprung base offers more support and comfort for the sleeper and replicates the feel and benefits of a sprung divan base which include longevity of the mattress and a softer more comfortable feel.
