The Manor Rose Hampton mattress is a medium firmness mattress that is handcrafted in Lancashire and makes an ideal replacement mattress that is suitable for bedsteads. The mattress contains no less than 1500 pocketed springs and is upholstered with luxury natural fillings including cotton, extra virgin lambswool, and white fibre, all backed up by a full ten year guarantee.
Cool and Comfortable Natural Fillings
Using natural fillings inside of a mattress offers breath-ability, longevity and optimal comfort. The Hampton mattress from Manor Rose is upholstered with a variety of natural fibres, each with their own beneficial properties. Virgin wool, which is freshly spun wool, often belongs to the latter class of wool fibres and tends to be somewhat water repellent due to many of the natural oils still being present. In addition to being strong and thick due to limited processing.
Supportive and Naturally Body Temperature Regulating
Virgin wool is an ideal soft and supportive comfort layer providing warmth in colder months and cooling in warmer months. It is natural, sustainable and strong with inherent insulating and fire retardant properties. This versatile fibre is also biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Cotton gives a soft feel and has an excellent ability to breathe to ensure you a healthy nights sleep. Hessian is laid over the spring system to offer breath-ability without affecting the free movement of the spring. White fibre is used as a synthetic upholstery which is a man-made substitute for the more traditional style hair fillings.
Supportive Pocket Springs
A pocket spring system offers small (typically softer) springs that are housed in individual fabric pockets, allowing them to function independently of one another, profiling to the shape of your body to reduce pressure points. Pocket sprung mattresses give very little transfer of movement from one sleeping partner to another, a vast improvement when compared to an open coil unit. They are ideal if there is a size or weight difference between you and your partner.

The Manor Rose Hampton mattress is fully turnable and features solid nickel mesh ventilators and reinforced flag stitched handles. The mattress has two rows genuine hand side stitching. Genuine hand side stitching is a labour intensive process involving the perimeter rows of pocket springs to be directly sewn to the side panels of the mattress to give complete and absolute edge to edge support and prevent the side panels from bulking out over time, hence the 10 year mattress Guarantee.
