The Gainsborough Deluxe guest bed is made by the Gainsborough, based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire. This high quality guest bed complete with zips is perfect for a spare room with space at a premium, ideal if you want your guests sleeping in absolute luxury. The integrated zips attached to each mattress offer the option to zip the mattresses together when the underbed is raised, ideal if the beds are to be used together for a longer period of time.

This guestbed is available in either a Small Single or Standard Single size. When open the Standard Single guest bed can be zipped together and used as a super king size bed (180cm) or used separately as two small single size beds (2 x 90cm). The smaller single opens to a king size bed (150cm) or separately (2 x 75cm).

Both of the pocket guest bed mattresses are fully pocket sprung with a generous layer of bonded white natural felt and fibre upholstery, they are both traditionally hand tufted with fluted mattress borders. The mattresses are complete full sized mattresses, the main bed divan base is slightly longer to accommodate the full size underbed mattress.

We are also able to offer any Linoso fabric at the same price to order directly from the supplier. The Gainsborough Deluxe guest bed with Zipped Mattresses as Standard

The covers of the mattresses are a premium white Belgian damask with two zips on the borders to zip them together and stop them from moving apart. The traditional hand tufted mattresses contain comfort layers containing natural and synthetic fibres either side of the pocket spring system, each mattress is turnable for comfort and longevity and finished with a high quality edge support system for edge to edge support.

The base of the main bed is a strong and sturdy glued and screwed timber frame, with panelled ends for a strong support which are deeply upholstered. The under bed has a shallow divan style base with fold out 'lift and lock' legs which bring the under bed up to the same height as the top bed.
