The Vispring Bedstead Shetland Mattress, upholstered with Platinum Grade British Fleece Wool
Sleep on out and out quality on this mattress, featuring Platinum Grade British fleece wool that is blended with real Shetland Isle fleece wool to create a luxurious mattress that offers exceptional comfort. The finishing touches are fine worsted wool upholstery and hand-tied woollen tufts. The mattress contains 1720* pocket springs, 48mm in diameter, sewn into individual calico pockets and hand formed into a honeycomb-nested unit. It is beautifully upholstered with a wool spring protector pad, then 600gsm of softly needled Platinum Certified British fleece wool plus 950gsm hand-teased real Shetland Isle fleece wool, overlaid with two layers of 300gsm British fleece wool.

This is all wrapped in your choice of fine worsted wool upholstery fabric from the Vispring collection with a choice of Ecru (TICK-851) or Pebble (TICK-850). This mattress is hand tufted with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine and benefits from three rows of genuine hand side stitching with flax twine. This gives the mattress an exquisite, tailored finish, but more importantly it gives supportive strength to the mattress edges that lesser beds need a metal rod to achieve.
