The Vispring Dartington mattress only is one of the latest additions to the Vispring mattress collection; offering a pure British fleece wool and cotton upholstery filling. The mattress features more than fifteen hundred hand nested Vispring six-coil pocket springs, made from fine wire offering flexibility and strength. The pocket springs work in harmony with generous layers of British fleece wool and cotton upholstery to provide an exceptional level of comfort.

Every mattress is handmade to order and is made using the finest natural materials – there are absolutely no foam or synthetic materials used in the mattress to promote the calmest and most natural sleep possible. Vispring is one of the very few mattress manufacturers to make it's own springs, in a process almost unchanged since 1901, ensuring that only the finest-grade steel and the highest standards of workmanship go into their production. The mattress contains 1558 hand nested individual pocket springs (based on a king-size mattress). Each spring works to shape your Vispring mattress to your body, adjusting to your movements to provide constant, cradling support without areas of pressure.
Soft, Comfortable and Breathable natural fillings
The mattress is upholstered with 1,000gsm bonded British fleece wool and cotton, 600gsm of Platinum Certified British fleece wool and finally overlaid with 1200gsm blended fleece wool and cotton. The Turkish long-fibre cotton used in this mattress is incredibly soft and durable, with an unparalleled sheen. The cotton is highly absorbent and naturally breathable, it is uniquely hygienic – wicking away moisture to preserve your comfort throughout the night. The fleece wool used in this mattress is naturally luxurious and is uniquely suited for mattress upholstery, thanks to a combination of softness, warmth and resilience. With a complex cell-structure and natural bounce, wool is a highly effective insulator, helping the body maintain its correct temperature to keep you warm in winter and cool in summer.

The Vispring Dartington mattress is hand tufted with felt washers and benefits from two rows of genuine hand side stitching with flax twine. This gives the mattress an exquisite, tailored finish, but more importantly it gives supportive strength to the mattress edges that lesser beds need a metal rod to achieve. The mattress will be delivered into your room of choice completely free of charge with Jones & Tomlin.

This free service includes a two-man delivery team (uniformed and fully trained in furniture delivery), delivery to your room of choice and allocated time slots.
Assembly of your new bed and recycling of your old bed are available upon request. These chargeable services must be ordered at the time of purchase and is subject to postcode.
