The Vispring Elite bed is an entry level Vispring model, yet still far surpasses the best offerings from most other bed makers. This sumptuously supportive bed is a traditionally hand-crafted bed that provides a wonderful introduction to the world of Vispring. The bed offers a deep filling of British fleece wool and cotton which overlays Vispring's unique six-coil spring; all sat upon a De Luxe divan base for unqualified comfort.

The Bed offers seductive comfort for those who appreciate a soft yet supportive feel. Each bed is made with a unique combination of spring numbers, gauges and shapes, to give an incredible range of sleeping options. You can personalise these with your preferred soft, medium, firm or extra firm spring tensions for your perfect bed.

Supportive and Comforting Pocket Springs

The Elite contains 1,254* pocket springs in the mattress that are 56mm in diameter; they are sewn into individual calico pockets and hand formed into a honeycomb-nested unit. Vispring is one of the very few bed manufacturers to make its own springs, in a process almost unchanged since 1901, ensuring that only the finest-grade Vanadium steel and the highest standards of workmanship go into their production. Only the highest quality materials can ensure supreme comfort. Vispring sources the finest fleeces for wool that softens and insulates its beds, and the search begins close to home. Britain's changeable climate makes wool from these isles uniquely soft, springy and strong, and renowned throughout the world for it's superiority.

British Fleece Wool and Cotton

The Vispring Elite bed mattress is upholstered with 1,350gsm of bonded British fleece wool and cotton, then overlaid with two sumptuous layers of 900gsm blended British fleece wool and cotton. Wool is used for its intrinsic qualities; including its natural flame resistance, making it the perfect fillings for a Vispring mattress, as it provides long-lasting structure and comfort. Cotton fibres are also used for their natural breath-ability and absorbency.

This is all wrapped in your choice of the finest Belgian ticking from the Vispring fabric collection, this mattress is hand tufted with felt washers and benefits from two rows of genuine hand side stitching with flax twine. This gives the mattress an exquisite, tailored finish, but more importantly it gives supportive strength to the mattress edges that lesser beds need a metal rod to achieve.

A Beautiful Combination

The mattress partners the Vispring De Luxe divan, 600* pocketed springs on a glued and screwed solid timber frame. A 1,200gsm natural coir pad is overlaid with 1,200gsm blended British fleece wool and cotton, and once again in your choice of the finest Belgian ticking.
