The mattress contains pure natural materials of exceptional loft and softness result in a supremely adaptable Vispring mattress that is highly responsive and supportive. The mattress contains a total of 2242* pocketed springs that are 60mm in diameter, constructed with two layers of springs and sewn into individual calico pockets and hand formed into a honey-comb-nested unit. Each Vispring Tiara Superb mattress features a double layer of honeycomb nested pocket springs at its heart – the twin layer construction of springs providing even more support and responsiveness to your body’s movements.
The Vispring Tiara Superb Mattress – Featuring Pure Natural Fillings
The mattress is beautifully upholstered with 1,000gsm of bonded British wool and cotton, then 1,200gsm hand-teased long-stranded horsetail blended with real Shetland Isle fleece wool, enclosed in a hair-proof cambric cover and overlaid with a layer of 1,200gsm blended real Shetland Isle fleece wool and cotton. Real Shetland wool is a rare, premium material, produced to exacting standards by seven hundred crofters on the remote Shetland Islands in Scotland. The natural properties of real Shetland wool inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungi and dust mites. It is a clean, hygienic filling that is hypoallergenic. Real Shetland wool is an effective insulator and responds to your body temperature.
An Exquisit Finish
The mattress is hand tufted with hand-tied woollen tufts and twine and benefits from three rows of genuine hand side stitching with flax twine. This gives the mattress an exquisite, tailored finish, but more importantly it gives supportive strength to the mattress edges that lesser beds need a metal rod to achieve. Assembly of your new bed and recycling of your old bed are available upon request. These chargeable services must be ordered at the time of purchase and is subject to postcode.
