Description
Introducing the William Morris at Home Wild Tulip Copper Duvet Set. Immerse yourself in this beautiful 220 thread count cotton sateen bed set, where small wild tulips sit amongst ribbons of larger peonies intertwining with scrolling stems and leaves, in this spring-inspired design by William Morris. The William Morris Gallery’s collection includes original hand block printed wallpaper lengths of this pattern, designed in 1884, in an array of colour options. Coloured in a rich navy blue and shades of copper and clay, inspired by natural dyes Morris himself would have used, this reversible bedding is elegant and sophisticated. Featuring Morris’ Wallflower pattern on the reverse in a complimentary shade. Available in sizes: single set, double set, king set and Super king set.
Morris’s daughter May wrote how the character of the Wild Tulip design was ‘all “Kelmscott” to me: the peony and the wild tulip are two of the richest blossoming of the spring garden at the Manor”. Kelmscott Manor was the Morris family’s country home in Oxfordshire.
Standard pillowcase(s) are included within the packaging and are also available to purchase separately, if required.
